For this Hitachi crawler crane, we carried out a partial replacement and repair of the damaged head section. The structure has been restored and fully inspected to ensure safe and reliable operation.

• 100% MPI check of welding works lacings-main chords and main chords-connectors for cracks and/or indications.

• Cut of 4x damaged main chords, plate work and related lacings and pre work remaining materials.

• Pre work new main chords, plate work and lacings.

• Assemble, align and weld the new main chords, plate work and lacings.

• Inspection of butt welds main chords by X-Ray method and other welding works new plate work and lacings by MPI method for cracks and/or indications.

• Shot blast and paint the complete section.
